Escape to the quieter side of Gulf Shores at Whispering Pines Cottage, a stand-alone 3-bedroom, 2-bath cottage in the peaceful Rookery community of Fort Morgan.

With room for up to 8 guests, this comfortable coastal cottage gives families and friends space to relax together while keeping the Gulf close by. Walk about 5 minutes to nearby beach access, cool off at one of two community pools, enjoy the hot tub or tennis courts, then settle in for an easy evening at the cottage.

Inside the Cottage

Whispering Pines offers an open living, dining and kitchen area designed for comfortable time together after a day along the Gulf.

The living room features comfortable seating and a Smart TV, while the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare breakfast before the beach, pack lunches for the day or enjoy dinner at home.

A full-size washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi and central heat and air add the conveniences you want for a relaxed Gulf Coast stay.

Beach Access

Nearby beach access is located across Fort Morgan Road via Cortez Street Public Beach Access. From the cottage, it's about a 5-minute walk, making it easy to enjoy morning walks along the Gulf or spend the day with your toes in the sand.

Beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers are not provided, so remember to bring your favorite beach gear.

Fort Morgan offers a different Gulf Shores experience—quieter surroundings, coastal scenery and plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

Explore historic Fort Morgan, ride the Mobile Bay Ferry to Dauphin Island, walk the nature trails at Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, book an inshore or offshore fishing trip, play a round at Kiva Dunes or spend an afternoon on a dolphin or sunset cruise.

And some days don't need an itinerary at all. A morning at the beach, an afternoon by the pool, dinner on the grill and a comfortable evening back at the cottage can be just right.

Easy Arrival & Local Support

You'll have private access to the entire stand-alone cottage. Self check-in is provided with a smart lock, and your personalized door code will be sent before arrival.

Your cottage is prepared with fresh linens and bath towels along with a starter supply of:

Parking & Important Information

• Parking for up to 2 vehicles
• Primary renter must be 25 or older
• No smoking inside the cottage
• No parties, events or large gatherings
• Boats, trailers, RVs and oversized vehicles require HOA approval

Extended Winter Stays

Whispering Pines Cottage welcomes extended stays from November through February. Settle into the slower Fort Morgan season with peaceful beach walks, comfortable cottage living and the laid-back Alabama Gulf Coast lifestyle.
