Captain Chris at South Winds is an updated 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo directly across from Gulf Place Public Beach and within walking distance of The Hangout, Pink Pony Pub, restaurants, ice cream, shopping and entertainment.

Sleeping up to 6, the condo combines an excellent central location with two outdoor decks, a community pool, a full kitchen, in-unit laundry and free covered parking for up to two vehicles.

Inside the Condo

After a day at the beach, come home to a comfortable space designed for relaxing together.

The open living area features reclining sofas and a Smart TV, with the kitchen and dining spaces nearby. Whether you're planning a movie night, sharing a meal or getting ready for another day on the Gulf, everyone can stay connected without feeling crowded.

Pick up fresh seafood, make breakfast before the beach or keep everyone's favorite vacation snacks close at hand.

Pool Time

Guests have access to the South Winds community outdoor pool—an easy option when you want a break from the sand or a quick swim before heading out for the evening.

Gulf Place Public Beach

One of the biggest advantages of staying at South Winds is having Gulf Place Public Beach directly across the street.

Spend the day swimming, relaxing on the sugar-white sand or watching beach volleyball, then walk back to the condo without having to load everyone into the car or search for beach parking.

Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and other beach gear are not provided, so remember to bring your favorites.

In the Heart of Gulf Shores

This is a great home base for guests who want to experience more than just the beach.

The Hangout, Pink Pony Pub, restaurants, ice cream, shopping and entertainment are all nearby, making it easy to head out for dinner or enjoy an evening downtown without moving the car.

South Winds is also conveniently located for festivals, beach volleyball tournaments and other events centered around Gulf Place.

You'll have private access to the entire condo during your stay.

Self check-in is provided with a smart lock, and your personalized door code will be sent before arrival.

Extended Winter Stays

Monthly stays are available November through February.

Enjoy quieter beaches, morning walks, Gulf sunsets and the convenience of being close to dining and entertainment during the slower Gulf Shores season.

Reservation Processing Fee:
A Booking Service Fee is included with your reservation. This is an Aqua Vacations administrative fee that helps offset reservation processing, guest support, payment processing, and operational costs. This fee is retained by Aqua Vacations and is separate from any traveler service fees that may be charged by the booking platform.
