This little place aesthetically looked the best on the property because of its little front yard sand pit deal. The inside was perfect and my children constantly said it felt like home. The ONLY downside I had which isn't big at all, was we're all hot natured and during a sunny summer day the AC has trouble keeping up (set at 68, was 76 max inside). We got used to it though. Besides we were out all day so it mattered little. Location is a 20min drive to things like the hangout but the stay was 100% worth it. The pool on-sight was clean and well maintained as well. We will definitely be renting again in future.

What a wonderful stay we had! We love coming to Ft. Morgan EVERY year for vacation, especially The Rookery. We fell in love with After Dune Delight so much, we hope to return next year!

The location was great. The cottage was homey and very clean. We loved it. My grandchildren didn’t want to leave.

What can I say except it was miss represented. The biggest thing for us...the reason we wanted this place verses a place on the ocean, was for the heated pool and hottub. Well the bugs...little snats or no-see-um made this totally impossible. The little girls tried to go a few times in the very cold pool (no, its not heated, but we were told it use to be) but even with two types of bug spray, they were bitten up, as we all were. The ocean was fine and we did enjoy that, thus saying were could have gotten a place there and not had to travel the mile by car.
Our bed was terrible. A king bed had memory foam that was sooooo soft and uncomfortable and the fitted sheets came off the bed every time you got into it so we ended every night on the grossly stained mattress. We should have left after the first day.
The kitchen had rusted pans many of which had to be washed before we could use them. The refrigerator froze our food and we had to go out and buy a light bulb as it was missing in the fridge. The ice maker leaked water onto everything on the left side of the refrigerator as well.
The light above the stove in the microwave was also not working.
Wi-Fi in the house was very poor and you could not hold a phone call or even watch TV without it being interrupted. Working remote was impossible for our daughter and her husband.
The grill is not gas and there is no firepit like the photo shows. The grill was rusted to pieces. We made it work but it was beyond shot.
The dishwasher was missing a rack. This was in a previous review so I thought it would have been repaired...nothing gets repaired or replaced at this house.
Our heat went out on the second day. we called and they management came by the next afternoon and agreed it wasn't working and then contact the repair service who did not come out till the following day.
So bottom line is, we will not be back!

The house was exactly as shown in the photos! Beautifully decorated and convenient to Ft. Morgan. The only "issue" I had is that the king-size mattress needs to be replaced or reinforced. Without this, I would have given them 5-stars.

Overall our stay was good. There were some things that need to be fixed. The dishwasher doesn't have a top rack, the dryer door is broken so you have to use a hanger to open it. The screen door needs to be repaired and is currently tied to the deck to keep it open. The golf cart was also not available to be rented which was frustrating. The house was fairly clean. We liked having the kids separated from the other bedrooms and we did enjoy having the house across from the pool.

Over all my family had a great vacation at the cottage but the unit needs to be cleaned better. Some issues include shower curtain full of mold, dishes stored in cupboards with dried on food, dirt and belongings from other travelers under the furniture. We overall had a great time at the unit but the cleaning crew needs to improve significantly.

After Dune Delight, was a good choice for us to spend a two week relax during our 12 month traveling during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The Home is in a quiet location, very calm, nearby there are some amazing walks with ever changing scenery.

We got to the house and the WiFi didn’t work. The password was incorrect and no one could figure it out. The owners were supposed to be in contact with us since they were coming in and we never heard from anyone. The golf cart was nice but was never told where the key was and by time we found it it was our last day and when we went to use it it was completely dead. There’s no cell signal so the no WiFi was a huge issue. We were supposed to hear from someone and never did. It’s a great location and beautiful house but the golf cart was a bust (plus had duct tape holding the top on), the WiFi didn’t work and no one really seemed to care or help with it, and the tv only had like 5 channels.

We loved After Dune Delight! Perfect space for the 6 of us. It was so close to the beach and the public beach access was very easy to find and park at. Furnishings were great at the cottage. Kids loved the pool too!

The condo was very nice! It was a good size for our party of 6. Three bedrooms, a nice kitchen and living room. The best part was the view of the gulf off the balcony! The bathrooms were nice and large too. The only real negatives are the guest bed and the elevators. The Bed in the guest room was incredibly uncomfortable. So much so that I ended up sleeping on the sleeper sofa instead. A new mattress is needed! The building elevators are not adequate for the number of people going to and from the beach, shopping, etc.. Often you will have a long wait, and the doors will close very fast! Other than those two things, I would hardly recommend this condo. If we come back to Gulf Shores again, I would definitely stay here. Also, the sea and suds next-door has fabulous food. Highly recommend that as well. The beach chair set ups are a bit expensive at $40 a day., so maybe consider bringing your own chairs and umbrellas. The management company was very responsive to any questions we had.

We needed a place to stay for our nephew's graduation and our boys' birthdays and judging by the pictures this place was perfect for a family of 4. I booked it, they reached out to verify and get my identification and told me the owner would email me the code to the door for our arrival. I didn't expect the email until just before 4PM on arrival day. Well it never came so I figured I would go to the front office. No one was there. So I tried calling. No one picked up. We were there AT 4PM. We went to the gaurd shack and he had our names for the reservation and condo number but no code to get in and no way to contact who I needed contacted via Whimstay/Aqua Vacations. I kept calling until someone answered! Finally a lady (I want to say Linda?) answered, I explained, she gave me all the info I needed and made me feel soooo much better because I had a mental breakdown in the parking lot thinking I had gotten ripped off and lost our money and had nowhere to stay. Once we got in it was a sigh of relief. The key code worked, the condo was spacious and beautiful and tasteful. The appliances, the furniture, the showers, all were great. The view was beautiful!!!!! The beds were the most comfortable beds ever! My kids loved the bunk beds. (9&2) It was one of the best places we've ever stayed at. The vibe was relaxed and fun all the way around. The ONLY disappointment was the pool and kiddie pool. The kiddie pool didn't work half the time and was freezing when it was. The indoor/outdoor pool is small but I guess why swim in the pool if you I have an ocean? It was the perfect distance to Pensacola and the Aviation museum. Restaurants are walking distance or a super short drive. I absolutely loved the stay and we're glad it worked out!

We had a great time during our two month stay. Unit was as pictured with plenty of cooking utensils, dishes etc. Beds were very comfortable. Overall the unit was great. Could use a little updating but cannot beat the location. The property was clean when we arrived. Sea N Suds located right below us on the beach was very handy. The food and service were really good. Would recommend this unit if staying in the Gulf Shores area.

Room 802 was just as it appeared in the photos. The condo was updated, and clean. We ate many meals in the condo and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook the meals. The view was superb and relaxing. We have no complaints about the beds either!
We did have issues with the WiFi our first couple of days. The password that is displayed in the kitchen is not correct. After calling the office Monday morning, they gave us the password which worked for the remainder of the week.
The tv in the bunk room did not work either.
I had read horrible reviews about parking and elevators for this complex. We had zero issues with parking! We always found a spot on the ground floor. However, the elevators were as bad as others reported. We remained patient and did not let it spoil our time. It probably would not deter me from renting this unit again at this time of year. It was manageable.
We had bad weather the first couple of days, but the majority of our vacation was beautiful, sunny and warm.

It was perfect. BEAUTIFUL CONDO IN A PERFECT LOCATION. AQUA Vacations took great care of us.

My stay in the seawinds cono was not what i would have booked we booked the beach club but was informed 3 days prior to checking that they were painting and could not check in on original date was given a choice of seawinds it looked nice online balcony was covered with oreos i swept up and the beach was overly crowded which i hate i choose a place more out of the way for this reason was vry disappointed and i would never stay at this location again i wish i would have cancled and demanded my money back i will never swich locations again i travel for the beach because i love it but not this end of the beach i would not recomend this to any one i know.

Everything was great from communication regarding the check in process to the unit itself. Property was well maintained. The view was amazing, the condo was spacious, exactly as pictured. We ate at the restaurant next door and shopped the market across the street. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! Our condo was very well kept and clean. It was pretty well up to date and decorated nicely. The amenities were nice as you have two pools, one great kid pool and one regular pool that is half indoor and half outdoor. The only downfall to any of our stay was the elevators and sometimes parking. Other than that, it was excellent and in a great location.
