We really enjoyed our stay in Tradewinds 908. It was really cute, looked exactly like the pictures. The bed was comfortable and we both slept better than we had for a long time. The location is perfect, near everything you’d need or want. The beach is amazing, not overly crowded either. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and will definitely be back.

The condo itself was lovely. Beautiful views, clean, and the building was very nice as well.
We had one issue with the fact that the listing online claimed it had a fitness center in the building and when we arrived we discovered it did not in fact have a fitness center. This may not be a big deal to some people but my husband and I seek out properties that have a fitness center. I spoke to Dana at Aqua Vacations and she did not provide good customer service, blamed the mix up on the online booking site that we used to book our stay, and did not call me back to offer a resolution.
Overall Tradewinds was beautiful. I hope no one else has this experience with the listed amenties/ expectations and what is actually offered.

We had a multigenerational family vacation and enjoyed this property very much. The distance to the beach was the easiest and closest walk we’ve had in the 7/8 years we have been coming to this area. The pool, while shared with the duplex next to us, was awesome to have just outside the back door. Our younger kids enjoyed playing in the sand and waves, but had just as much fun in the pool while siblings napped. We look for a comfy home rather than a new build, especially with younger children. This home is older and has been lived in, that’s the feel we wanted and had no problems with that. It’s also located in a quiet area of Fort Morgan. We enjoyed the home and hope to be able to spend another week here in the future!

The house was large and clean. Loved the location and easy beach access. The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable some had mattresses toppers placed to help but they had reached there max of life I believe. We loved the porches outside but the location the trash cans were kept with the smell from not being cleaned from what was thrown in before we weren't able to use the outside most of the time.

Large home in a great location wonderful for a large family with small children. Quiet beaches close to Fort Morgan. Great if you're interested in a quiet vacation. We have repeatedly chosen this neighborhood for these reasons but it is a 20+ minute drive into town if you plan to go often. Pool was a nice bonus which we enjoyed. Home was clean & kitchen well equipped with what you need to cook. Large fridge which was so appreciated! The only small negative is the home is in need of some general upkeep maintenance. Paint, doors that stick, door knobs that were difficult to operate, etc. Would definitely recommend this rental. Our family all agreed we would like to stay here again.

The property overall was in a great location and the set-up was nice because we traveled with friends who stayed in the house next door. However, the house needs quite a bit of updating. There was a terrible musty smell in the house (especially the tower). The appliances did not work well. The freezer ruined some food because it did not freeze properly (it was not overstocked), the washer didn't spin unless you reset it, the dryer would not turn on (we could randomly get it to work). There was no skillet in the kitchen. The pool deck is in disrepair and caused splinters and stubbed toes for the children. The furniture in the living area was nice, but it did not work properly. There is a lot of potential, but the house needs a lot of TLC.

The house and location were great and met our family needs. The 4 twin beds are in need of new mattresses...teens & adults slept there with no comfort in sleeping. All other beds and furniture were accommodating. The house needs a deep cleaning. Sand is part of staying at the beach and hard to clean however, there were places with a lot of sand/ dirt residue visible, esp laundry room. Kitchen needs a better wipe down. I would’ve rated a 5 but our biggest issue was the “private” pool. The pool is shared with the next door house. Day 2 for my family, there were adults with beer and smoking pool side before noon, 9 kids and 5 adults......10 in pool at once....pool furniture pulled to one side, etc! No where in house description states pool is shared with another house. Very misleading and put a huge damper on our trip.!! Very little time spent at/in the pool. The “private” pool was a deciding factor with renting this house. Would not have considered if known it was shared.

Spacious house with a great pool, very close to the beach but not much of a beach view. The layout of the entire house is a little wonky but I realized this from the pictures on Aqua View website. The bathroom attached to what I would call the master suite definitely needs a shower added to it—very inconvenient to go up several stairs for the nearest shower. The carport is tight even for my Chevy Traverse. The vent fan in the kitchen should be replaced. Butane grill is in such bad shape that it needs to be set out on the curb for garage pickup.
What we enjoyed most about our stay was the pool and closeness to the beach. I would rent from Aqua View again but would not rent this home again.

Let’s start with the positives.
This home had plenty of bedrooms to accomodate a large party of people. Every master bedroom had a balcony. Semi-private pool was cleaned every 2 days. If you have kids, you don’t have to worry about them messing furniture, carpet or walls up. Very close access to the beach. Quiet neighborhood and no light pollution from high rises.

Negatives. Everything needs to be updated. Stains on the carpets, furniture is very worn, beds are thin, cheap mattresses, fridgerator had ice falling into fan so it didn’t initial keep groceries cold, several bedspreads had blood stains and hair on them. The kitchen was so disorganized it was hard to find what you needed and there were no scissors or pens to be found. Upstairs window was broken and fell off the tracks when opened.
Jetted tub doesn’t fill up all the way, tower shower doesn’t work properly.

Property management was good about responding to the need to maintenance, roku password and other details. However, the place was not very clean. I know it’s hard to eliminate sand but it didn’t appear as if things had been swept, and the bloody linens was a huge turn off. I also never received an email for departure instructions and on the front end of the trip there was discrepancies between vrbo and the property management that were left to me to clarify.

Overall, it’s a nice house for families that don’t care too much, have young kids, or are young and just need a place to sleep and go to the beach. Let me be clear, it wasn’t a dump, but it wasn’t nice. This place needs some love and attention and with some updates could be a lovely retreat.

This was the prefect house for our family's spring break, with grandkids, adult-kids, and my wife and I. Location was excellent as next door to Gulf, away from but some miles from the activities at Gulf Shores. We will like to stay here again!

The unit it self worked well for 2 people and very comfortable. The view overlooking the lagoon is beautiful. The decor was great for the location. That being said, the unit needs updating, painting, screening. Nothing a little TLC wouldn’t take care of the issues.
Overall, I would definitely rent out this unit again.

Though the condo is a dated, the balcony and view were absolutely spectacular. It was quiet, comfortable, and a great location. We enjoyed being on the relaxing bay and seeing the sunsets while also getting to take a very short, direct, easy walk to the beach.
